My name is Honor Finnegan.
I’ve been singing and performing since I was a kid. I was in the 1st National Tour of Annie, at the Improv Olympic when it was in a dive under the L tracks (Del Close conceived, “Honor Finnegan Vs the Brain of the Galaxy” in my honor), and I have won accolades for songwriting, and performing in the Folk community.
On May 29th, 2016, I was swept away in my car during a flash flood in Texas while at the Kerrville Folk Festival. I miraculously survived, wrote that story, and performed it at the Moth in July, 2016. The theme was, “Water”. I got the bug, and started writing more stories.
I hope you dig them. If you do, I hope you share them. Mostly, I hope they inspire you to dig deeper, and fly higher.
